As I am more of an avid reader than prolific writer, any fictional work that is mentioned here will most likely be of the recommended kind.

This post will therefore be home to various masterlists of fics that I have compiled and sorted by either pairing or fandom. I enjoy fics from all categories - books, films, video games, television shows, anime/manga, and of course, crossovers in every which way, as long as I am familiar with the original series. I am, however, partial to fiction that involves either the Harry Potter series or Final Fantasy VII, VIII & X.

Edit: My late introduction to Delicious bookmarks meant scrapping all these plans halfway through, but I think I'll still keep a list of those fics that stood out for me. Possibly with small reviews.

Final Fantasy
Epic Final Fantasy - favourites from the Final Fantasy franchise. Alliteration, what. - currently being revised.

Harry Potter
Harry Gets a Life - favourites where Harry goes pro-active, or generally has more fun than canon.
HP Crackdom - favourite crack!fics. But also, stories where canon woes take a back seat to shenanigans.

Pairing-specific - favourites sorted by pairing (within each respective fandom). I'll be keeping these to a minimum per couple, hopefully.

Crossovers

Note: For specific couples, I may devote whole posts if I find enough gems.
